Updates made to the Journal Date on the are now audited and available in the in the Company Information – Accounting Data section.
Security enhancements
For improved security, a virus scan is now performed on all files uploaded to Powerpay. If the file fails the virus scan, the file is not uploaded, and an error message displays.
To improve security, DOCTYPE tags are now blocked on all files uploaded to Powerpay, including import files, and an error message displays.
To enhance security, Powerpay now limits the types of files the can be uploaded. Powerpay also verifies that the contents of the files uploaded are of the format declared by the extension and that they are of the correct type for the functionality on the page where the file is being uploaded.
The following file types are accepted based on the action being performed:
- Manual Import - .xml
- Custom Import and Custom Import Setup - .txt, .csv
- Employment Verification Letter - .jpg, .png
If the file is of the incorrect type or contains data of the incorrect type, Powerpay displays an error message.
