Set up a shift rotation

Select the Shift Definitions tab.
Here you define the hours for the shifts you are setting up.

If the Start Time and End Time already display, your shift definition is set up. Go to step 9. If not, click +Add.

Enter the Name, Description, Start Time, End Time and Reference Code for the shift definition.

If this shift should have a Meal and or Break, click +Add in the Meals and Breaks section.

Enter meal and or break in the Type field.

Complete the Earliest Start, Latest End and Duration fields.

Click Save and Refresh.
Your shift definition is now complete.

Select the Shift Rotation tab.

Click Refresh.

Click +Add.

Complete the Name, Description, and Organization fields.

In the Rotation Days field, enter the number of days in the shift rotation. If your shift rotation is weekly, enter 7. For a two week rotation, enter 14.

In the Day field, enter the day of the week that the shift rotation starts on.

In the Reference Code field, enter the cross-reference code associated with the shift rotation. This code must be unique and must not contain special characters.

In the Shift Rotation Details section, you set the shift definitions to each day of the 7 days of the week. Select an option in the Shift Definition drop-down list for each day of the shift.

Click Save and Refresh.
